The Story Behind the Name

Calathea Collective is named after one of my favorite plant families — the calathea, with its strikingly painted leaves that fold up like praying hands each night. To me, calatheas represent something I try to bring into everything I make: growth, intention, and quiet beauty that reveals itself in its own time.

What started as a personal passion for handcrafted goods and supporting local artisans has blossomed into this shop — a place where I get to share the things I love most with people who appreciate them just as much.

What I Make
